Tyler Shaw is a director of sales for Fluor Corporation’s Mission Solutions – Nuclear & Civil business line. He pursues business opportunities with the Department of Energy Office of Environmental Management and National Nuclear Security Administration as well as other civilian Federal agencies. Tyler serves on Fluor’s corporate Sustainability Committee and the Mission Solutions Diversity, Equity & Inclusion committee.

Tyler has 24 years of overall experience including sales and marketing, strategic planning, procurement, and cost estimate development. Most recently, he served as Fluor’s capture manager for the Integrated Mission Completion Contract, a 10-year, $21-billion opportunity to manage and operate the high-level liquid waste facilities at the Savannah River Site (SRS) near Aiken, SC. He has also developed strategic plans for business units with up to $2.5 billion in annual revenue and led a 40-person team to update the cost and schedule baseline for the $3 billion Portsmouth Decontamination and Decommissioning (D&D) Project.

Tyler’s prior positions include consulting on proposal and performance measurement baseline development, marketing and planning for AECOM’s commercial power business unit, procurement for the Iraq transmission and distribution reconstruction project, press relations for the Permanent Mission of Japan to the United Nations, editing and translation for Transform Corporation in Tokyo, Japan, and public affairs at the Museum of Television and Radio. He holds an MBA from the Stern School of Business (2007) and a BA from Vassar College (1998). He is fluent in written and spoken Japanese.
