LaShay J. Solomon
LaShay Solomon is the Supervisor of Supply Chain Management for Power Generation Services at Dominion Energy, where she has been employed for nearly 13 years. Throughout her tenure, she has gained extensive experience working in Power Delivery supply chain, Power Generation supply chain, and Strategic Underground, supporting the company’s Grid Resiliency efforts. Before joining Dominion Energy, she worked as a Buyer at Jos. A. Bank Menswear in Hampstead, Maryland leading the purchase and distribution of suits inventory across the company’s footprint. Additionally, she interned as a Buyer at S&K Menswear prior to completing her undergraduate studies.
LaShay holds an undergraduate degree in Marketing and Fashion Merchandising from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), and a Master of Science in Management with a specialization in Supply Chain Management from the University of Maryland University College. In addition to her professional accomplishments LaShay has led the Young Professionals Employee Resource Group (ERG) fostering a collaborative and educational environment for Dominion Energy’s young professionals. She also supported the company’s Supplier Diversity efforts by developing and leading initiatives focused on increasing diversity spend. She actively participates in various community and professional organizations.
Outside of work she enjoys reading Historical Fiction novels and Professional Development books, watching college football, traveling, cooking for her family, spending time with her husband and three daughters, and exploring new restaurants in Richmond, Va.
