Rachel Boyd is a Supplier diversity specialist with a passion for promoting inclusivity and economic empowerment. Rachel holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration applied Economic Analysis and continues to stay abreast of industry trends and emerging practices in supplier diversity. Rachel is an active participant in professional networks and conferences. Rachel has participated in the South Carolina Manufacturing Summit, Columbia County Chamber of Commerce Small Business Forum, South Carolina Chamber of Commerce-Good Morning North Augusta, The Energy Technology Environmental Business Association, Carolinas-Virginia Minority Supplier Development(CVMSDC) BOC23,CVMSDC MLP-Ring, contributing to the advancement of supplier diversity both locally and nationally.
Rachel manages the Savannah River Nuclear Solutions acquisition forecast, supplier capability assessments, supplier database, small business award nomination schedule and conducts supplier risk assessments. With experience in supply chain management and supplier diversity program, Rachel has developed a deep understanding of the procurement landscape and the value of diverse supplier networks. Known for her ability to foster relationships and drive results, Rachel has successfully implemented and managed supplier diversity initiatives for SRNS. In addition to her knowledge of supplier diversity best practices, Rachel is a proactive collaborator, working closely with management and external vendors to implement supplier development initiatives and advancement of the small business program.
