What is it?

Road to Open Call is Walmart’s national initiative supporting American manufacturing by creating direct access for product-based small businesses to pitch shelf ready goods to Walmart’s sourcing teams. This spring, the road leads to Atlanta — and there’s no better stage than RICE.

Entrepreneurs selected for the Open Call receive expert coaching, national visibility, and a chance to scale from local markets to Walmart store shelves. Los Angeles was the first stop, followed by cities like Austin, Orlando, and Kansas City and Atlanta will bring it home!

Eligibility Criteria:

To be considered, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Made, Grown, or Assembled in the USA

• Shelf-Ready (URL, barcode, and packaging)

• Proven Scalability (e.g., co-packing or self- manufacturing operations)

• Purpose-Driven Products

• Retail Operations Experience (e.g., managing purchase orders, demand forecasting)

• Proven Marketing Activation

• Digital Sales Performance
